Chestnut 7's menu now leans Italian

The Chestnut Hill pub overhauls its menu.

Draw a circle a few miles across, with the center at 8201 Germantown Ave.

Bars with pub menus, taverns with pub menus. And so on. Brian Harrington, part of the group that owns Chestnut 7, got the picture.

Chestnut 7's main menu has been revamped to Italian, a cuisine that surprisingly is not as well-represented in Chestnut Hill. The pizzas remain; entrees start at $16 for spaghetti and meatballs and for the most part stay in the teens.

The bar menu remains a traditional bar menu: nachos, burger, cheesesteak spring rolls, steak and cheese.
