More DIY restaurant food from Center City District
The Center City District has just released its winter 2012 edition of its popular, downloadable cookbook, Center City Cooks, as it gears up for the next Center City District Restaurant Week (Jan. 20-25 & Jan. 27- Feb. 1).
The cookbook contains a dozen recipes for appetizers, main dishes, desserts, and cocktails.
Among them: California Dates and Pennsylvania Goat Cheese (wrapped in smoked bacon) from Square 1682; Risotto with Radicchio with a recipe provided by Liberte Urban Chic Lounge @ Sofitel Hotel; a decadent desert, Chestnut Crespelli, from Le Castagne; and The Devil's Spice Cider, a yummy drink from Devil's Alley.
Of particular note: The Prime Rib restaurant divulges its recipe for lobster bisque - a rich classic.
