Fairmount's OCF Coffee House sets opening
An accountant's dream: Its first day is Jan. 1.
OCF Coffee House's third location - where Mugshots was, at 2100 Fairmount Ave. - will open Jan. 1.
The only rub are the new windows in the historic building, which have been a topic of controversy with the city Historical Commission. Apparently, cafe operator OCF Realty installed windows according to a long-ago approved but never-implemented plan - and did not consult with the neighbors first. See this recap.
