Answer: So far, Pennsylvania has not expanded its Medicaid program under the ACA. Governor Corbett has proposed an alternative to the ACA expansion, however it requires federal approval, and a decision is not likely before this fall's election. The next open enrollment period for purchasing a policy on an ACA exchange begins on November 15 and goes until February 15, 2015.
