A gang of thirsty thugs had a terrible time at their local hangout Friday night.

Cops, state police and officials from the Department of Licenses and Inspections raided Lamars Inn, a North Philadelphia bar, on Cecil B. Moore Avenue near 16th Street, at about 11 p.m., police said.

Lt. Charles Green said cops found a .357 handgun, two 9 mm handguns, a Colt .45-caliber semiautomatic pistol and a "small Saturday-night special."

Police also found small amounts of marijuana, crack cocaine and heroin on at least two men.

One man was arrested for possessing an illegal gun, and two others were charged with drug possession, Green said.

Lamars Inn has been a continual nuisance to the neighborhood, which is also home to Temple University, Green said.

"There has been a long history over the years of complaints, violence and shootings around the bar," Green said. *
