Fugitive exposed while shopping for lingerie

If Corey Glenn could have waited for the post-holiday sales to do some shopping, he could have saved some money on lingerie and maybe put off a trip to jail.

If Corey Glenn could have waited for the post-holiday sales to do some shopping, he could have saved some money on lingerie and maybe put off a trip to jail.

Glenn, 29, of the Bellmawr Manor Apartments in Bellmawr, Camden County, was arrested on bench warrants on Christmas Eve while shopping at a Victoria's Secret inside the Deptford Mall.

A member of a Gloucester County Prosecutor's Office task force that focuses on guns, gangs and drugs was working in the mall around 12:30 p.m. Wednesday when he noticed Glenn shopping in the lingerie store.

Glenn, who has the words "Success is Revenge" tattooed on his back, was the subject of a three-week investigation by the county's fugitive unit for failing to show up in Superior Court in Woodbury on Nov. 21 for sentencing on narcotics and weapons charges.

After the officer spotted Glenn in the mall, a group of about seven or eight officers approached him in the store. Glenn engaged in a brief struggle with the officers before he was subdued.

Before Wednesday's arrest, Glenn had pleaded guilty to three separate indictments: unlawful possession of a weapon in Mantua Township, unlawful possession of a weapon in Cumberland County and possession of methamphetamine in Westville.

Investigators say that when arrested, Glenn had some cocaine on him. They also mentioned that he didn't take it with him to the Gloucester County Jail, in Woodbury, where he was being held without bail. *
