Correction

Due to a production error, words were deleted from yesterday's article about U.S. Rep. Joe Sestak, affecting three paragraphs.

Here is how those paragraphs should have appeared:

Gov. Rendell thinks that Sestak would "get clobbered" in next year's Democratic primary, ticking off the reasons why Sestak has "practically no chance" against Specter, who is well-known across the state and likely will have an inexhaustible supply of campaign cash.

"What in God's name is he doing?" Rendell exclaimed.

Barring unforeseen circumstances, Sestak is getting into the race, and it appears that nobody can talk him out of it - not even the president himself, nor Obama's chief of staff, Rahm Emanuel, a master arm-twister.

An article yesterday about a meeting of city tavern owners incorrectly stated that Jerry Jordan's Mark V Lounge had been closed for violations by the Department of Licenses & Inspections. When he was speaking of bar closings, he was speaking collectively on behalf of the owners in attendance. Jordan's bar was never closed for violations.
