A 22-year-old man died after being shot on a street corner in Kingsessing early last night, police said.

The victim was outside at Frazier and Broomall streets just before 6 p.m., police said, when he was shot once in the upper left side of his chest by an unknown killer.

The assailant was last seen heading east on Elliott Street.

Police took the victim to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, where he was pronounced dead at 6:09 p.m.

A 21-year-old man shot in the mouth in West Philadelphia last night told police it happened during the course of a robbery.

Police said the victim was shot once by an unknown assailant about 8 p.m. Police said last night that they didn't have any suspects in the shooting.

The victim was taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, where he was listed in stable condition.

Police in West Philadelphia's Belmont section were investigating a shooting yesterday afternoon that sent one man to the hospital.

Details of the incident were sketchy, but police in the Southwest Detective Division said the 30-year-old victim had been shot once in the hand at 41st and Ogden streets about 3:45 p.m.

The victim then ran home to 41st Street and Westminster Avenue before he was taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania to be treated.

The victim was treated and released from the hospital last night, police said.
