CELEBRATING AMERICA'S best beer-drinking city, Philly Beer Week began Sunday and finishes up this weekend after 10 days of pub crawls, tap takeovers, beer-themed game shows, and block parties.
Here are some featured venues as the fun continues through the weekend. (Go to phillybeerweek.org for full schedule.)

Goose Island Block Party
The Vetri family's version of an Italian gastropub is the star Sunday at Alla Spina (Italian for "from the tap") on Mount Vernon Street, off North Broad. It starts at 2 p.m. featuring street food by chef Matty Matheson, treats by Big Gay Ice Cream, and live music by Modern Colour, and a beer list by Goose Island
Dock Street Music Fest and Scavenger Run
While others may be spending Sunday nursing hangovers and vowing never to drink again, at Dock Street Beer on South 50th Street off Baltimore Avenue in West Philly, they'll be gearing up at 2:30 p.m. for a run and scavenger hunt. Afterwards, it's a free outdoor concert featuring Needle Points, Northern Liberties, Black Landlord and others.
