Bethany woman saved from attacker by family dog
Authorities in Bethany say a woman and her infant who were attacked by a man posing as a delivery driver were saved by the family dog.
BETHANY, Okla. (AP) — Authorities in Bethany say a woman and her infant who were attacked by a man posing as a delivery driver were saved by the family dog.
Police say the man was holding a package and when the woman opened the door, the man sprayed mother and baby with pepper spray.
Oklahoma City television station KOCO reported (http://is.gd/V8bKGy ) reports the family dog, Louie, bolted toward the man when the woman screamed.
Louis chased the intruder out of the house.
The woman and baby were treated at a hospital for effects of the pepper spray. The family says they've recovered from the chemical.
The attacker hasn't been caught.
