A 46-year-old Bristol Borough woman was killed Wednesday when she was hit by a SEPTA Regional Rail train, officials said.
A 46-year-old Bristol Borough woman was killed Wednesday when she was hit by a SEPTA Regional Rail train, officials said.
The woman was on the tracks, about 20 feet above street level, a few blocks south of SEPTA's station in the borough. She was hit about 8:15 a.m. by a commuter train headed for Philadelphia, a SEPTA spokesman said.
The accident is under investigation, and the woman's name was not available, the spokesman said.
The accident caused 30-minute delays on the Trenton Line for two hours. - Bill Reed
