Teen hurt in ATV crash

A teenager driving an all-terrain vehicle in West Philadelphia was in critical condition after being struck by another ATV Saturday, police said.

The 15-year-old youth, whose name was not released, was rushed to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

The ATVs collided shortly after 2 p.m. while driving on 58th St. near Cobbs Creek Parkway. The age and name of the other ATV driver were not released.

It is illegal to operate an ATV on any public street, sidewalk, park or recreation facility in Philadelphia.
