Man shot eight times in Point Breeze

A 56-year-old man was critically wounded in a shooting in Point Breeze Monday morning, police said.

Police said the shooting took place in the street on the 1900 block of Morris Street around 10 a.m.

The victim was shot eight times in the upper body, police said, and is listed in critical condition at Penn Presbyterian Hospital.

No arrests had been made, and police had not recovered a weapon.
