Lane lawsuit trial on hold

Philadelphia Common Pleas Court Judge Marlene Lachman said Friday morning that the Pennsylvania Supreme Court has stayed the civil suit filed by former CBS3 anchor Alycia Lane against her former coanchor Larry Mendte, pending the disposition of a change of venue petition filed by CBS, one of the defendants.

CBS wants the suit to be heard in New York.

Lachman had issued a gag order Thursday on all the parties to the lawsuit, but lifted it Friday.
