Body found in Frankford

Philadelphia police are investigating an unidentified body found in Frankford early this morning.

A neighbor found a body wrapped inside a comforter on the 5400 block of Oakland Street early Saturday morning, police said. The victim was a black male about 20 to 30 years old, police said, who had suffered one gunshot wound to the lower back. He was pronounced dead at 8:27 a.m.

Police are still on-scene investigating the incident and have not identified the man. They haven't found a murder weapon or any potential suspects, they said.
