"Hurricane" Schwartz: Easter-like temps in December

Temperatures hit 56 degrees Monday afternoon, when the normal temperature for Dec. 7 is 48 degrees. Clouds are moving up the coast on the northern edge of a weak storm, but the rain is further south and looks like it will stay just offshore tonight.

After that storm moves out, it's quiet until Thursday, when a warm front moves through. Behind that front, temperatures will likely sneeak into the 60s for the weeknd, and maybe even the mid-60s! The next decent chance for rain isn't until Sunday or next Monday.

The forecast:

Monday night: clouds early, but should clear late. Low of 35 in Philly, and 28 north and west.

Tuesday: sunny and cooler. High 52

Wednesday: mostly cloudy with a high of 52.

Thursday: partly sunny and mild with a high of 57.

Friday: partly sunny and warm with a high of 61.

Saturday: mostly sunny and warm with a high of 64.

Sunday: mostly cloudy and warm with a high of 66.

Monday: mostly cloudy and warm with a chance of showers. High of 60.
