Wing Bowl sells out in 45 minutes

About 15,000 tickets to the 16th edition of Wing Bowl sold out this morning in 45 minutes, WIP said.

It took 36 hours to do the job last year.

The Feb. 1 spectacle at the Wachovia Center, hosted by Angelo Cataldi and the WIP morning crew, will feature some of the nation's top eaters, who will tackle plates of chicken wings as scantily clad Wingettes gambol about. The $5 cover charge will benefit WIP Univest Bank Student Athlete Scholarship Fund
