Man shot in head in West Philly

A man was shot in the forehead and shoulder just before midnight last night in the 5200 block of Spruce Street, a police spokesman said.

Police said the shooting took place at about 11:50 p.m.

The 27-year-old male is in critical condition at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

No arrests have been made.
