Tibetan Freedom Torch arrives in Philadelphia today

The Tibetan Freedom Torch, being relayed around the world to protest China's human-rights record in advance of the Beijing Olympics, arrives in Philadelphia today.

The route begins at City Hall at noon, proceeding to the Art Museum and then to Independence Hall by 2 p.m. From 2 to 3 p.m., local Tibetans and their supporters will stage a rally on Independence Mall, centered on Market Street between Fifth and Sixth Streets.
