Saturday casting calls: ‘Transformers 2,’ ‘Survivor’

"In the future everyone will be world-famous for 15 minutes," Andy Warhol said.

"In the future everyone will be world-famous for 15 minutes," Andy Warhol said.

And for you, that future could be Saturday.

The CBS reality show Survivor will be interviewing potential maggot-munching, buff-banded backstabbers from noon to 4 p.m. in Scranton. The auditions will be held at the Mall at Stearntown, on Lackawanna Avenue.

Earlier at the Bullies bar at the Wachovia Spectrum, the feature film Transformers 2 will hold an open call for "background talent" - meaning paid extras.

Union and non-union people of all types are needed for scenes to be shot in Philadelphia and Princeton next month.

Bring along a "snapshot," and enter the parking lot from Broad Street, mentioning "Transformers casting" to get free parking. Bullies' entrance is on the south side of the Spectrum.

Screen Actors Guild members should bring their union cards and show up from 10 to 11 a.m., non-union hopefuls from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

No acting experience is required, but "college age men and women are especially needed," according to Heery Casting. For more information, go to www.heerycasting.com.
