N. Camden man shot dead in park

A Camden man was found shot to death in a North Camden park this morning by a county parks employee, authorities said.

A Camden man was found shot to death in a North Camden park this morning by a county parks employee, authorities said.

Ronald Custis, 32, of the city's Parkside neighborhood, was found at 7:18 a.m. lying in the grass near Seventh and Erie Streets, according to Jason Laughlin, spokesman for the Camden County Prosecutor's Office.

Custis was shot at that location, Laughlin said, but authorities are not yet certain when he was killed.
