Services set for Penn surgeon killed in Iraq

A Funeral Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Monday at the Cathedral Basilica of SS. Peter and Paul on Logan Circle in Philadelphia for Dr. John P. Pryor, 42, the leader of the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania's trauma team and a major in the Army Reserve, who was killed Christmas Day in Iraq.

A Funeral Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Monday at the Cathedral Basilica of SS. Peter and Paul on Logan Circle in Philadelphia for Dr. John P. Pryor, 42, the leader of the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania's trauma team and a major in the Army Reserve, who was killed Christmas Day in Iraq.

Visitation is scheduled for 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Moorestown Memorial Home, 334 Chester Ave., Moorestown.

The Fund for Dr. John Pryor has been established to help his wife, Carmela, and their three children. Donations may be sent to UPHS - Dr. John Pryor Fund, Suite 750, 3535 Market St., Philadelphia 19104-3309.
