How did tot end up alone under a tree at 7:15 a.m.?

Bensalem police are investigating how a little boy ended up alone under a tree this morning.

Officers found the child at Bristol and Richlieu Roads about 7:15 a.m.

Almost two hours later, after issuing an appeal for the public's help and canvassing the neighborhood, police reported the child's family had been found.

No other details have been released.

Police said the child appears healthy and in good spirits.

It was not raining at the time the child was found and police said he was not very wet.
