Divers look for motorcycle passenger in Schuylkill

A woman apparently was thrown into the Schuylkill tonight when the motorcycle she was a passenger on crashed on a bridge in Norristown, police said.

The crash occurred shortly after 8 p.m. on the Dannehower Bridge on Route 202, police said. The man operating the motorcycle was thrown onto the road and was taken to a hospital to be treated for moderate injuries.

Search crews were deployed in the river to locate the woman.
