The Mega Millions jackpot rose to $140 million today after no one had all six winning numbers in last night's drawing.

But 11 tickets, including one sold in New Jersey, won $250,000 for having the first five numbers - 27,31,32,36 and 47 - but not the Mega Ball, 35.

The other tickets were sold in California (1), Massachusetts (1), Michigan (2), New York (4), Ohio (1) and Texas (1).

The cash option payout for Friday's drawing is $87.5 million, before taxes, of course.

The jackpot for tonight's Powerball drawing is $77 million paid out over 29 years, or $38.3 million pretax cash.

Powerball is played in Pennsylvania, Delaware and 29 other states.
