An overhead power line problem disrupted service on the Amtrak line between Philadelphia and Baltimore and on SEPTA's Wilmington/Newark line.

Except for a brief suspension on the entire line, SEPTA was able to operate trains between between Center City and Marcus Hook through the morning. Service to Delaware resumed around 10:15 a.m.

After suspending service at 7 a.m., Amtrak resumed limited operations at 9 a.m. and advised passengers to expect delays.

Amtrak said the problem was caused by damage to an overheard power line near Wilmington.
