Troopers search for missing sex offender

State police are searching for a registered sex offender who moved from a Chester County residence in late October and left no forwarding address.

Timothy Craig Dunbar, 41, who lived in the 600 block of East Hillendale Road in Kennett Township, has not registered his new address with police, a violation of Megan's Law, said a news release from the troopers' Avondale barracks.

According to court records, Dunbar was convicted of aggravated sexual battery in 1991 in Charlottesville, Va. Anyone with information is asked to contact Trp. Henry L. Callithen 3d at 610-268-2022.    Kathleen Brady Shea
