Police have released the names of two young men gunned down Tuesday.

Police have released the names of two young men gunned down Tuesday.

In both homicides, arguments likely led to the shootings, and no suspects were in custody this morning.

Shortly after 3:30 p.m., a 24-year-old was fatally shot once in the head and more than once in the torso in the 2300 block of West Indiana Street, in the Swampoodle section of North Philadelphia.

Emanuel Jackson lived in 2900 block of North 23d Street, around the corner from the shooting scene.

He was pronounced dead at 4 p.m. at Temple University Hospital.

Shortly before 11:30 a.m., a 22-year-old was fatally shot multiple times in the chest near his home in the 300 block of West Ruscomb Street, in the city's Olney section.

Ormar Laboy was taken to Einstein Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 11:55 a.m..
