Man shot dead in Point Breeze

A 21-year-old man was fatally shot Friday night in the Point Breeze section of South Philadelphia, police said.

The man was shot once in the chest about 9:40 p.m. in the 2200 block of Wilder Street, police said. He was transported to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and pronounced dead at 9:57 p.m.

No arrests were reported.
