Police ID woman slain in her home
Police have released the name of a woman slain in her North Philadelphia home. Lavonne Thrones-Johnson, 52, lived in the 2200 block of Gratz Street.

Lavonne Thrones-Johnson, 52, lived in the 2200 block of Gratz Street.
Her sister found the body about 10:50 p.m. Tuesday and called 911.
The cause of death seems to be blunt-force trauma, police said.
Suspects and a motive had not been determined, as of this morning.
