Boy, 15, shot in the back in Frankford

A 15-year-old boy was shot in the back Friday night in the city's Frankford section, police said.

The teen was shot about 9:35 p.m. in the area of Bridge and Hawthorne Streets, police said. He was taken to St. Christopher's Hospital for Children and was reported in stable condition.
