Police say about a dozen Shipley School students got stuck in a downtown Philadelphia elevator for more than an hour after their prom Saturday night.

The students from the Bryn Mawr private school held their prom at the Pyramid Club on the 52nd floor of 9 Penn Center.

The students were on their way down and out of the building when the elevator got stuck between the 31st and 32nd floors just before midnight.

Police say a crew was called in to fix the elevator and free the students. Nobody was hurt.
