Bicyclist, 14, struck and killed in Bucks County

A 14-year-old bicyclist was struck and killed Saturday night while riding on Lower State Road in Warrington Township.

The rider, whose identity was not released, was hit around 10 p.m. between Bradley and County Line Roads in the township's Eureka section. The type of vehicle was not provided by authorities, who said the driver stopped to help until police and an ambulance arrived. No other details were given.

Police are asking any witnesses to call Officer Mike Neipp at 215-343-3311.
