Woman, man in their 60s found stabbed in Point Breeze

A 63-year-old woman was stabbed to death in a Point Breeze home on Friday afternoon and a 67-year-old man was found in the same house with stab wounds to the neck and chest, according to police.

Police on Saturday identified the woman as Robin Potter and said the man was her husband. The couple's son found them around 3:47 p.m. in a home on the 1500 block of S. 19th Street.

The man was taken to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center and listed in critical condition Friday, police said. The woman was stabbed several times in the body and pronounced dead at 3:49 p.m.

Police announced no arrests. They said there were no signs of forced entry.

A source close to the investigation said detectives were seeking to determine whether the couple had any history of domestic issues.

Tipsters can call the Homicide Unit at 215-686-3334. As in all homicide cases, there is a $20,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest and conviction.
