Police in Bristol Township, Bucks County, are seeking the public's help in finding a man who allegedly tried to lure a 10-year-old girl into his car Thursday.
The incident happened after school on Glenrose Avenue near Malinda Drive, police said. The girl had just gotten off a school bus and was walking home when a silver car pulled up and the driver told her to "get in the car," police said.
The girl was able to get away after the car followed her for a short distance.
The man was described as Indian, in his mid-20s, and stocky. He reportedly spoke with an accent, had a tattoo on his left bicep, straight light brown hair, greenish eyes, and wore a red shirt with "Pride" written on it.
The car was described as a newer silver four-door sedan, similar to a Honda Civic. Police asked neighbors to view any video-surveillance footage they may have for the time between 3 p.m. and 4:15 p.m. Thursday. Tipsters should call the dispatch center at 215-785-4040 or police at 215-785-4052.
