Police said the extended passenger van was involved in a fatal hit-and-run that killed a 31-year-old man in Port Richmond.
Police are seeking the public's help in locating and identifying the occupants of a white Chevrolet Express extended passenger van that was involved in a fatal hit-and-run Oct. 14 in Port Richmond.
The van hit a 31-year-old man on the 2200 block of East Allegheny Avenue about 1:50 a.m., then continued east on Allegheny without stopping, police said. The victim, identified by police as Eric Magny, was found lying on the street unconscious. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The van's headlight assembly was broken on impact and its chrome-and-black front bumper appeared to have been damaged, police said in releasing photos of the van Monday. The driver's door had dark marks, possibly a logo or smudge marks, police said. The vehicle, which has tinted windows, also had a pale yellow license plate, possibly a New Jersey tag, or a vanity plate on its front bumper, police said.
