Fatal shooting victim identified as Pottstown man

A man shot in the head in Pottstown on Monday night in what authorities believe was a drug-related homicide has been identified as a 20-year-old Pottstown resident. Police responded at 10:10 p.m. to a reported shooting in the first block of King Street and found Tykeem Amon Wilson, who was pronounced dead at the scene, said Risa Vetri Ferman, Montgomery County's first assistant district attorney. According to court records, Wilson's criminal history includes three drug convictions and a Montgomery County conviction for illegal possession of a firearm. No arrests have been made.
