Police seek assistance identifying Wawa robber

Police are asking for the public's help in identifying the man who robbed and stabbed a convenience store clerk early Monday. About 4:10 a.m., police said, a man entered the Wawa at 7715 Frankford Ave., then stabbed the cashier in the left arm as she opened the register to ring up a candy sale. The man reached into the register, grabbed $190, and fled, police said. The cashier received several stitches to her arm. The robber is described as white, about 30, 6 feet tall with a thin build, wearing a navy-and-gray baseball cap. He also was wearing blue jeans and a blue-and-gray jacket with white sleeves.
