A Delran woman was charged with murder yesterday after stabbing her husband in the neck during a fight at their apartment, investigators said.

Kesi C. Cole, 25, called 911 and reported the stabbing around 1:50 a.m. yesterday.

Officers found her husband, Eric J. Cole, 29, lying in the kitchen of their home in the Hunters Glen Apartments, on Route 130 in Delran.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Burlington County Prosecutor's office said the couple had been arguing in the kitchen when Kesi Cole stabbed her husband once in the neck.

Investigators, working with the U.S. Department of Immigration and Customs Enforcement, confirmed the defendant is an illegal immigrant and a native of Trinidad.

Kesi C. Cole was processed and transported to the Burlington County corrections center in Pemberton. Bail was set at $750,000.
