Man dies after shooting in Hunting Park

An unidentified man died early yesterday morning, apparently after a bullet that entered his left arm traveled to his heart, police said.

The bullet did not go through his arm into his chest, but somehow found its way to his heart, police said. The man, believed to be in his mid-30s, was found outside about 2:30 a.m. at 16th Street and Erie Avenue in Hunting Park.

He was pronounced dead at Temple University Hospital at 3:34 a.m.
