STOYSTOWN, Pa. - A Western Pennsylvania woman is hospitalized after she was trapped overnight in her vehicle after a crash.

Police say Stacey Gryskiewicz ran off the road while trying to avoid a deer about 9 p.m. Friday. Her sport-utility vehicle went down an embankment to a stream and overturned, trapping her inside.

Police say Gryskiewicz of Stoystown was able to keep the car running, turn the heat up, and cover herself with a blanket.

A hunter discovered the crash about 6 a.m. Saturday.

Officials at Conemaugh Hospital say Gryskiewicz was listed in fair condition last night.

Police say she had cuts to her face and a possible broken jaw.
