,

,

Cole Hamels

The hit of the night: an auction item of batting lessons from Utley for eight people, which sold for $13,500. As for animal talk, the Phillie with the largest menagerie is Halladay, who told me that his family has three dogs, two cats, five guinea pigs, a parrot, and four horses. Ibanez chuckled as he and wife Teryvette ran down their herd: dogs Lola and Oprah, cat Oscar, a guinea pig named Polly, and a tarantula named Harry - though the shaved-pated leftfielder said it could be spelled "H-a-i-r-y."

Hamels attended stag, as his wife, Heidi, was attending a benefit in San Francisco. Before, he met lawyer Justin Wineburgh for a snack at Parc on Rittenhouse Square and pined for his old high-rise neighborhood. He's now a suburban squire in Newtown Square.

Injured calf aside, Rollins - attending with fitness-trainer wife Johari, who sported a diamond necklace spelling out "Eleven" - is off to a good spring. Chanel Nicole, a singer on his record label, just got out of the studio with her first single, "Fire." Rollins' lawyer Chris Cabott says Nicole (http://chanelnicolemusic.com) will perform after an early-summer Phillies game.

TV's

Rachael Ray

is expected to deliver some sort of additional surprise to famed Frankford High culinary teacher

Wilma Stephenson

on Monday's show (10 a.m., 6ABC). Last month, Ray showed up to announce a makeover for Room 325.

Carrie Bourgo, women's volleyball coach at Harcum College, and her black Lab, Jami, will turn up on NBC's Today Monday in the final round of the show's Top Dog contest. Jami has become quite the mother's helper for Bourgo's baby son, Owen; he and Bourgo's husband, Ryan, a doctoral candidate and cancer researcher at Thomas Jefferson University, will join her and Jami on the air. See video at http://go.philly.com/jami

It will be wall-to-wall Susan G. Komen Philadelphia Race for the Cure on Tuesday from 3 to 8 p.m. as CBS Philly's TV and radio stations host Call for the Cure, an on-air fund-raiser for breast cancer outreach. The race is next Sunday.

The circuit

If the halls at Northeast High seem quieter, it's because A&E has pulled the full-time camera crews following English teacher

Tony Danza

for his reality series. A&E says producers have enough footage but will return for key moments. The show still has no official title, but is supposed to premiere this year.

Seated at nearby tables Thursday at Sampan at 13th and Sansom Streets: Flyers captain Mike Richards with wing men Dan Carcillo and Riley Cote (loved the satay), and rapper/thespian Ludacris with two female friends (no drinks, paid cash, tipped well). Richards has been sporting a playoff beard, as have 20 execs of parent company Comcast-Spectacor, including president Peter Luukko, senior vice president Shawn Tilger, and Global Spectrum COO John Page. The hair-raising stunt has become a somewhat itchy fund-raiser.
