Police seek suspected drug dealer in killings

Terrell Antrom has a dollar sign the color of blood tattooed between his eyes - fitting, perhaps, for a suspected drug dealer who police say gunned down two innocent people last year.

Police are asking for the public's help in finding Antrom, 24, who they say shot a military veteran to death in North Philadelphia in April 2012 after mistaking the man for a drug rival.

In November, police say, Antrom killed a 25-year-old woman outside a North Philadelphia nightclub.

As in all Philadelphia homicides, there is a $20,000 reward in each case.

Police said Joel Watson, 33, had just returned from an appointment from the VA Hospital in West Philadelphia when Antrom saw him near 16th Street and Wyoming Avenue.

Antrom mistakenly thought that Watson had stolen drugs from him, law enforcement sources said, and fired a semiautomatic handgun at point-blank range. Watson died at the scene.

Johnika Tiggett was outside a Dennie Street bar with friends in November when a fight involving Antrom spilled onto the sidewalk and turned into a gun battle, police said. A bullet from Antrom's handgun struck Tiggett in the head, killing her, police said.

Antrom, recently released after serving a two-year sentence on gun charges, is known to frequent the neighborhood near the 4400 block of North Cleveland Street in North Philadelphia.

He is described as 5 feet, 4 inches tall and 150 pounds, with a tattoo on his neck as well as the dollar sign between his eyes.
