A 19-year-old man is in critical condition Sunday after being shot multiple times Saturday night in the Strawberry Mansion section of the city, police said.

Police arrived on the 2600 block of North Myrtlewood Street around 10:15 p.m., after receiving reports of multiple shots fired and a person with a gun. They found the man lying on the highway, police said, with gunshot wounds to the right leg, shoulder, and back.

He was taken to Temple University Hospital, where he remained listed in critical condition Sunday.

The shooter was wearing a mask, police said, and is described as a black man wearing a black hoodie.
