SEPTA to expand mall bus routes

SEPTA is expanding some of its bus routes during the holiday shopping season as increased traffic is expected at Montgomery County malls.

With the extra trips, shoppers can stay at the King of Prussia, Plymouth Meeting, and Montgomery Malls until closing time and still catch a bus home.

From the King of Prussia Transportation Center, Routes 99 to Phoenixville, 123 to Upper Darby, and 124 to Center City will have extra evening trips on most weekends until Dec. 23.

From Montgomery Mall, Route 94 to Chestnut Hill will have extra trips Saturday and Sunday, and from Dec. 12 to 23. Route 96 to Norristown will have extra trips Dec. 14 and 21.

From Plymouth Meeting Mall, Route 98 to Norristown will have extra trips each weekend until Christmas.
