HADDONFIELD The circus, jugglers, and pickles are coming to downtown Haddonfield for the borough's annual New Year's Eve celebration.

For the 17th year, Haddonfield will host the nonalcoholic, family friendly event from 6 p.m. to midnight Dec. 31.

First Night Haddonfield features live entertainment, activities for all ages, and a fireworks display at 9 p.m.

This year's event will include more than 40 performances at 20 indoor venues along Kings Highway. Performances include the Doo-Wah Riders, the Screaming Orphans, and the Unexpected Boys.

There will also be a zone for children 9 and younger that will include the Give and Take Little Circus, Give and Take Jugglers, the Brian Richards Magic Show, and the Paisley Pickles - Not Your Ordinary Kids Band.

Children 2 and younger will be admitted free. All others must purchase a $15 button for admission. Buttons are available online at www.firstnighthaddonfield.org. They also can be purchased at the Haddonfield Information Center in Kings Court. Hours vary depending on the day. Buttons will also be available at the town library and at some local businesses, including Professional Printing, Carl's Haddonfield Service, Republic Bank, and Ludovico's.
