A review of the movie I Am Legend in yesterday's Weekend section gave an incorrect publication date for the novel of the same name by Richard Matheson on which the film was based. It was published in 1954. The review also incorrectly identified the first film based on the novel. The Last Man on Earth (1964) was the first adaptation.
