Clearing the record

A Galleries listing in Friday's Weekend section gave an incorrect closing date for "Alan Magee: Tapestries" at Gallery51. It closes Dec. 31.

A story Friday about the possible sale of the Boy Scouts of America's Philadelphia headquarters incorrectly said that the city had first sued the Cradle of Liberty Council. The council sued the city in federal court after the city threatened to evict it from the city-owned property over its refusal to explicitly renounce the national scouting policy of not allowing openly gay scouts and scoutmasters. Three days later, the city sued in state court to evict the scouts, but that suit was dismissed.
