AUTHORITIES say two people were found dead yesterday in a Montgomery County residence, and the bodies were reported to have injuries from a chain saw.
Police and prosecutors in Lower Moreland Township said a juvenile reported finding the victims unresponsive "with lacerations from a chain saw" shortly before 1 p.m. yesterday.
Police issued a statement announcing the two deaths, adding, "one of which is an apparent homicide." They had not commented on the other death, and a township police spokesman said he had no further information.
Autopsies were scheduled today at the county coroner's office. The names of the deceased weren't being released pending notification of relatives.
