Burlington County's courts ombudsman is going mobile. In a new program, Heshim "Chip" Thomas will travel from his Mount Holly office twice each week to assist the public in Willingboro and Pemberton Township.

Thomas will be at the Willingboro Senior Citizen Center, 429 John F. Kennedy Way, on Tuesdays and Pemberton Township Municipal Court, 500 Pemberton-Browns Mills Rd., on Wednesdays - both days from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The areas were chosen for their large populations, limited public transportation, and elevated rates of foreclosures, according to county officials.

Though Thomas cannot provide legal advice, he can direct residents to legal referral services and social services that address a host of issues, including foreclosure. - Matthew Spolar
